Spider-K is a novel (and patented) system of One-touch fitting in a single movement, of the steel framework that forms the skeleton in a concrete structure in the conventional construction (it replaces the fitting by tying of bending wire and/or fitting by welding) That is why both Type-A and Type-B are manufactured in different diameters according to the different measures of steel bars that will fit.
Polypropylene (PP) is a thermoplastic polymer used in a wide variety of industrial applications.



Features of Polypropylene (PP)

⦁   It is odorless and non-toxic. It does not contain BPA (also known as Bisphenol A) or phthalates.
⦁   It is 100% recyclable (Source: National Geographic Spain, Redaction May 22, 2018)
⦁   Low density. Very light weight (talking about Spider-K, less than 10gr per piece)
⦁   High mechanical resistance

⦁   High resistance to impact, as well as to fracture due to flexion or fatigue, which provides an added resistance in case of seismic movements.

⦁   Polypropylene resistance can be improved by mixing with EPR or EPDM elastomers.
⦁   It's totally waterproof.
⦁   It is resistant to sudden changes in temperature, without its molecular structure undergoes any change.
⦁   High chemical resistance. It is resistant to corrosion, to many chemical solvents, both acidic and alkaline.
⦁   High melting point. It is resistant to high temperatures, even allowing sterilization at 140 °, so it is used in sanitary items.

(Optional) An RFID chip in every clip for ideal identification within the structure (after pouring the concrete) so that its installation can be easily checked even when the concrete has dried. RFID chip will be capable to transmit vital information about the structure status, for example in the event of a landslide or earthquake.
